October 26th, 27th & 28th at the World Trade and Convention Center in Halifax Nova Scotia saw the return of Engen Books to the now nationally-famous Hal Con for their 2012 show.

Engen authors Ellen Curtis, Larry Gent, Jay Paulin and Matthew LeDrew were all there attending writing seminars, hosting panels, and interacting with fans new and old via the Engen Universe booth located in the main hall.

The Engen staff was joined by an all-star cast of celebrities and actors, including John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Sliders), Rene Auberjonois (Deep Space Nine, Boston Legal); as well as comic-book sensations Larry Hama (GI Joe) , Nick Brandshaw (Wolverine and the X-Men) , Conor McCreery (Kill Shakespeare) and Ariel Marsh!
