Ever since the Tim Burton Planet of the Apes remake failed to reinvigorate the series and give it the reboot that was so desperately wanted and needed for the series, the franchise has been in a sort of limbo.  Lost in the annuals of science fiction and forgotten by everyone who once cared about it – or so we thought.

It’s never went away.  It was just waiting.

The Rise of the Apes stares James Franco, Tyler Labine and many more in its retelling of how the Apes went from those primates to the genius species that eventually dominates the world.

And it looks GOOD!!
