Nathan Fillion will star in another super hero movie this year as he returns to work with James Gunn.

The New film, entitled Super, is from writer/director James Gunn, who previously worked with Nathan in Slither.  Super is a hyper-real and shockingly funny look at the extremely violent antics of a down-on-his-luck man as he attempts to win his wife back from a glamorous drug dealer by teaming up with a psychopathic teen to become costumed crimefighters.

The movie also stars Rainn Wilson from The Office, the smoking Liv Tyler from Lord of the Rings, and Michael Rooker from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer and Repo! The Genetic Opera.  This will also have producers Ted Hope from Adventureland and Miranda Bailey of The Squid and the Whale’s fame.

Nathan Fillion is also rumoured to be staring as Ant Man in the upcoming film directed by Edgar Wright of Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead fame.
