On Friday February 21 1986 the world changed.

The first game in what would be a long running series was released for the Family Computer Disk System.  It was called The Hyrule Fantasy: Legend of Zelda.

It was renamed The Legend of Zelda when it came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System a year and a half later.

It has been 25 years since the Zelda series was released and we thank Shigeru Miyamoto everyday for the thousands of thousands of hours of fun it’s given us.  I have given you a Zelda Crossword already, and a Ocarina of Time Crosswords coming next week.  Until then enjoy the artwork.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
